What we need to build now is a Value Ladder that shows the series of products or services you sell that increase in price and also increase in value as the client progresses along the buying journey with you. So you know, we are going to label them as products and services for now and then we are going to turn them into offers, which I will talk about later. In this value ladder the cheaper products and services start at the bottom and then as you ascend the value ladder the price and the value of those products and services increases proportionally.
Knowing ‘what to sell’ is very important if you are going to scale your business.
You want a series of products and services for your value ladder.
Note: Most businesses in the coaching/consulting/healing industry only need a MAXIMUM of 3 core products/services that you sell to reach $1 Million+ /year.
For most people you want your core product or service to be in the $2k-$5k range. I will break down below potential products and services you could sell. They are broken down into low range, medium range and high ticket range. There are many options for this. Below are some examples of Products/Services/Programs for a coaching business:

Before you construct your value ladder make sure you consider the following points…
✅ You are happy with the margins of each product/service you sell in this value ladder. i.e. the financial cost to run each product/service vs the profit you will make.
✅ The value ladder supports the lifestyle you want.
✅ The value ladder is sustainable and scalable. If you are beginning then I recommend you start with 1 to 1, but as you become more experienced, you evolve into 1 to many.
✅ You know each step of the value ladder aligns with the SAME niche and complements the natural journey your ideal client will take. Each product/service must complement the one you sold before it. You want a nice logical transition between each step of the value ladder.
✅ The value ladder is constructed so that it’s the best use of my time, money and energy.
✅ Remember your clients don’t buy the product, they buy the solution! They buy the Result! Your goal is to make sure your products/services/programs solve the problem of your ideal client in the most time efficient way!
✅ You are okay with and aware of the maximum number of people you can take for any product or service you have.
✅ You are aware of any possible limits to your model.
✅ You are aware of the pro’s and con’s for each product or service you sell in the value ladder.
Exercise – List the products/services from cheapest to most expensive in your value ladder (most businesses in coaching/consulting/healing space need 3 or less to $1M+/year)
Come up with and draw your own value ladder below. Come up with the basic outline of it. You don’t need the names of the programs just yet if you don’t have them.
